I really hope she likes them.

A customer at the Flower and Food Festival fell in love with a fleecy Bea jumper that I had for sale. But firstly it was too big and secondly, she needs everything twice as she has two lovely twin girls. So she asked me if I could make two of them a size smaller. And here they are with matching hats:

A little bit of colour...
is what we need on this grey and rainy day: a patchwork scarf made from small scraps of jersey and fleece.

There are weeks without any deliveries and then they all come at once: finally the new fabrics from Farbenmix have arrived. Yes, no patterns but fabrics. I saw them on their facebook page a while ago and just had to order them: they are funky, great quality and just a bit different (ok, not the plain red jersey).
Available in the shop now.

New trousers
Leoni has grown quite a bit since last winter and outgrown nearly all of her clothes. If it was for her she would run around in skirts all the time, but I don't think we would survive without any trousers at all. The pattern I used is WANDA from Farbenmix. I made them up in a size 122/128, but had to cut off quite a bit as Leoni is more a 116/122 just now. If I do one again I will probably go for a smaller size and lengthen the legs. And to make sure my dear daughter is actually going to wear them, I let her choose the ribbons and buttons.

Flower and Food Festival 2010
Last weekend was this years Flower and Food Festival and it's been fantastic! The weather was great (compared to last year where the first day had to be cancelled due to flooding) and there was about a total of 25.000 visitors over the weekend. Thankfully, quite a lot of them stopped at my stall :-) I had made a lot of small items to sell, but surprisingly this year it was the clothes that sold best. I met Jacqueline from Perth, she had a stall right opposite mine and she makes really cute cookery outfits for kids. Here are some photos:
