After all the girlie stuff I made recently it was about time to sew something for boys. I really enjoy not having to use pink, red or purple :-) There are so many nice patterns out there for boys, especially in the the OTTOBRE magazines, and the pattern I used for this hoodie is from issue 1/2010. I slightly altered it by completely lining it with the robot jersey as I felt the navy spinacker fabric was a bit too thin.
It is quite a time consuming pattern I must admit, especially the front pocket, which alone took about two hours. But I'm very happy with the result and I hope it will find a new owner soon.

OTTOBRE magazine reprinted

I received an email today telling that the popular OTTOBRE design issue 6/2007 has been reprinted!!! The magazine is in English only, but instructions in other languages can be downloaded.

Another two items off the list

Still two weeks to go until the craft fair and here are another two things I had been planning on sewing for some time:

Fleece Jumper in size 98, pattern HANNEL from Bunte Nadel.

Pinafore dress in pink and red babycord, pattern MARIEKE from Farbenmix.

El Porto

I have started my preparations now for the Food and Flower Festival at the beginning of September. It is only four weeks away and my list of things to sew is pretty long, so this is the first of (hopefully I'll have enough time) two El Porto bags:
