That is the last skirt for this summer: the pattern is again from the OTTOBRE designs 4/2008 and the fabric is stripe denim lipstick. Embroidery design "girls and friends" from Kunterbunt-Design.

Bandana Bibs

A few months ago Laura from Babble Bib contacted me and ordered some of my jersey fabrics. She makes lovely little bandana bibs for boys and girls and I just wanted to share her fabulous website with you. New skirts

Although this weather is everything but summery (we had hailstones today!), Leoni needed some more skirts. We are going to Germany next month and hopefully get some nice sunshine over there so she'll be able to wear them:

Pattern review

These trousers have been on my to-sew list for some time. It is quite an unusual pattern - I like unusual - as the trouser legs are twisted! Not difficult to sew at all, you just put them together like any other  pattern, and voilá - they come out twisted. The little apron is attached to the front with Kam Snaps. The first time I've used them and I LOVE them, they are so easy to apply and they come in thousands of different colours!

The hooded jumper is made from soft antipilling fleece and spotty jersey. The sides are slightly longer that the front and back and I have embellished it with various ribbons and the cute embroidery "Froggy Princess" from Tinimi.

I'm back

I've been away to Holland for two days, fabric shopping for the new autumn/winter collection. Oh, there are very nice things coming soon, I'm very excited about it. The new season is going to be very colourful, although I was a bit disappointed to hear the the Bizzkids magazine will not be published anymore :-( Instead they are doing single patterns, I haven't seen them yet though so don't know what they will be like.

My mum came over from Germany and we had a lovely time together. It takes her only 2.5 hrs in the car, so I suppose it hasn't been the last time for us to meet there :-)
