Glasgow, here I come...

Only a few more days until the Creative Stitches Show in Glasgow starts. It runs at the SECC from Thursday, 7th until Sunday, 10th March. I'm leaving here on Wednesday to set up my stall and at the moment my workroom looks anything else but tidy: bolts of fabric lying about, boxes full of sewing magazines and pattern are stacked on top of each other, clothes hanging on the shelves and most importantly my list of what I need to take is lying in the middle of my cutting table. It is quite a bit of preparation going into it but I'm really enjoying it. I just don't hope I forget anything...
So, if you're planning on visiting the show you will find us at stall C04, same place as last year. Looking forward to seeing you there!!

Outdoor jacket

This jacket has been on my list for a while, I just didn't have the right pattern for it. But now that QUINN and PHILIPPA from Farbenmix are available in my shop, I had to have a go. It is a bit more time consuming due to many different pattern pieces, but I'm very happy with the result. It is made from soft shell fabric and is water repellent and windproof.

New dresses

I'm currently working on some dresses and other items for the shows in March. I use them to display on my stall which makes the whole thing much more colourful than just having posters on the wall.

Leoni turned nine last week - yes, already - and she invited some of her friends to an indoor climbing park. She'd been there before and really loved it. Not everyone was very keen at the beginning, but after a while they were really into it. Pretty high, if you ask me....

I made her this quilt as a present out of what seemed hundreds of little squares (a big thank you to my mum who cut them all!). It goes very well with her new sofa :-)
