Sad news

Sadly my step-dad died last night after a long illness and so I'm heading out to Germany on Thursday morning for his funeral on Friday. I will be back on Saturday afternoon if everything goes to plan as I've still lots to prepare for next weeks show in Glasgow. Sorry for not having blogged a lot recently, I've been sewing a few new dresses and I promise to take some photos as soon as this stressful time is over.

Apron dress

This pattern is from the latest OTTOBRE kids spring/summer 2012, made from turquoise/white tiny dots fabric lined with turquoise gingham. You kind of forget what it is like to sew a size 80, when you own child now needs 128/134....it is so petit!

our new members of the Doig family: Emily and Becky, adopted from the SSPCA, moved in at the weekend. They are still very shy, but so adorable!
