Skirt pattern

I'm currently on the lookout for a skirt pattern that I can use for a new workshop I'm planning. One that is pretty straight forward, easy to understand and makes a nice skirt. And I thought I'd be a good idea to try them myself before deciding on one.
So here we go: skirt number one is New Look pattern 6106, an a-line skirt in various lengths. It might not be the most exciting fabric I've chosen, but I was short of a black denim skirt. It fits around the waist perfectly but I had to take quite a lot in on both sides as it was too wide for my liking, but that's just my taste I suppose. Otherwise it's fine, apart from the chart that tells you the finished BUST measurements! Come on, really!?

Matching skirts

This is was I've been working on recently: two buttoned skirts in cotton poplin. The photo doesn't do them much justice and my pale green t-shirt doesn't help either (I was too lazy to get changed, sorry). They've got two pockets on the front and two on the back, felled seams and even matching buttons!
