Although the sun has disappeared now and the temperatures have drastically dropped to 10C and rain, I'm positive thinking the summer will return. Someday. Soon. Hopefully. So I made another outfit for Leoni from the Farbenmix LORE top and shorts from a Japanese pattern book.

Loop or infinity scarfs
I've been working on some loop scarfs - they are quick and easy to make and don't require huge amounts of fabric. You can combine as many different fabrics as you like, from a single coloured to a patchwork scarf, cotton or jersey fabric, whatever you've got in your stash. They certainly brighten up your wardrobe!

On a cold and rainy bank holiday...
...Leoni got very creative: she had her first proper attempt at sewing. She wanted to make a scarf, she chose the fabrics herself and nearly did it all by herself, really, I only helped a little bit with measuring and a bit handsewing at the end. She cut it all out, pinned it and sewed it together. And then she made a hair scrunchy afterwards (again with only a little help). She is so proud of her first projects that she wore them to school this morning :-) Needless to say that I'm dead proud of her, too!

Extension finished
The house has been finished for quite a while now, I either just didn't have time before - or forgot - to take some pics to show you. It's great - so much more space - we're loving it!!!!

Wishing it was summer
Despite the cold and wet weather outside, Leoni needs some summer clothes. Her favourite thing at the moment are shorts so I made her a pair for the hot days that are hopefully to come at some point!? The pattern is from the latest OTTOBRE magazine and I've enlarged it to a size 134 (it only goes up to 122 in the book), and the shirt is ANTONIA from Farbenmix.
