This is my first project from the book Sewing Clothes Kids Love: the IMKE shirt. I made it in size 122/128, it's still a bit too big for Leoni, but she loves it and wanted to wear it even before the sleeves were sewn in! A lovely pattern, great for mixing and matching remnant fabrics.

For knitting needles, wool and other stuff
I came across this ebook a while ago and wanted to try it out to see if it was something for my craft fairs. Mmh, not sure, maybe I have to make another one a bit smaller and use interfacing (and not Quiltex!) as this one is a bit floppy.

The Creative Stitches Show went really well. Alan helped me setting up and was there for the first two days, which were a bit quieter and my friend Lorraine came through to Glasgow on Friday night for the last two days. Saturday and Sunday were really busy with loads of customers squeezing through the aisles. As it was my first big show I didn't know what would sell best so I took a bit of everything. But for the next one I definitely have to stock up on one particular item: pom-pom ribbon in all different colours, they sold out like hot buns! It's funny how these things go.
Here are some pictures Alan took:
How much fabric goes into a Zafira? Well, quite a lot, as we found out when we packed up for the show :-)

It will be quieter here for the next few days as I am heading off to Glasgow tomorrow for the Hobbycrafts and Creative Stitches Show at the SECC. So if some of you are planning to go, please come along, I would love to meet you! Will be back next week with some of photos :-)
